We're live on location for our 5th special podcast segment of season 2 of Unceded Airwaves! We spent a few hours at the 3rd Annual Nehiyo-paskwa-itsimowin Powwow, organized by the First Nations Studies Student Association at the War Memorial Gym at UBC!! Ray Thuderchild emcee's the event and spends much of the time educating, entertaining and cracking jokes for us to hear. The whipman is Lawrence Trottier. The host drum for the event is Sage Hills. The head woman is Jade Louis and the head man is Teddy Olney.
