This is the second episode of Unceded Airwaves, which is the radio show produced by CiTR's Indigenous radio collective. In this interview, the host and collective member Salia Joseph interviews Gunargie O'Sullivan. Gunargie is a radio powerhouse in Vancouver who has several radio shows on the go and is the creator of the Red Jam Slam Society. They discuss the value and roles of radio in Indigenous communities. Gunargie shares her own relationship with radio and discusses the various ways that it has helped her heal and become a stronger person.
After the interview Salia Joseph and Samantha Knock reflect on Gunargie's interview and discuss current events and upcoming community events in the city!
