We’re back with another packed episode of the AFTN Soccer Show for your listening pleasure and we’re covering a lot of bases this week as we talk Vancouver Whitecaps, the Canadian national team, the Canadian Premier League, and more.

It’s been a week of joy for Canadian soccer, with the men’s national team all but booking a spot at this year’s World Cup in Qatar. We chat about the latest win in El Salvador, the job that John Herdman has done, how the rest of the year should look, and the team’s continuing rise in the FIFA rankings.

It’s also been a busy week in Whitecapsland and we look at all the main stories from Brian White’s contract extension, to the signing of midfielder Sebastian Berhalter, to a couple of departures. Plus we look at the announcement of how the MLS Next Pro roster will be made up and we find out if Javain Brown fancies a chocolate digestive.
