In this episode we interview Dr. Laura Nimmon, an Associate Professor in UBC's Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine. We speak with Dr. Nimmon about health professions education and the 'social networks' which exist in healthcare practice and educational settings. We also delve into the power dynamics between physicians and patients, and also the relationships between residents and physicians. We finish off by discussing health professions education in a global context.
