KARL DUNN (he/him) is a multi-award-winning advertising Creative Director who has lived and worked in eleven cities throughout Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, and America. A global citizen and advertising consultant, he resides between Berlin and LA.

"How To Burn A Rainbow" is his first book which delves into the subject of queer divorce. How To Burn A Rainbow is a gripping narrative of resilience and courage that dares to ask the hard questions about love, equality, and the price of happiness. In the end, Karl's marriage didn't make him whole, his divorce did. The book is available online wherever books are sold, or you can support your local bookstores in person to order your copy. NAOMI KAVKA (she/they) is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Smithers, BC. A classically trained cellist, vocalist, and guitar player, Kavka brings a myriad of influences to her songs, forming a daring indie-rock sound that is musically polished, lyrically visceral, and emotionally raw. Her songs come from the unique perspective of a queer woman, a child of a refugee and as a resident of the precipice of the wilderness of Canada.

Kavka’s band, (composed of Geoff McFarlane, Ian Olmstead, Jake Jenne and Jordy Walker), deftly support her as they perform deeply intimate, political, and cathartic songs. Brought together by soundscapes and comradery, they blend their backgrounds of jazz, classical music, folk traditions, and rock to communicate complex emotional landscapes.

Their latest album "Then and Now" (June 2024) is a collection of 8 songs produced by Jordy Walker. Ranging from driving indie jams, melancholic ballads, snarky anthems, and art rock improvisations, "Then and Now" demonstrates Kavka's fearlessness and range as a performer and songwriter, alongside the newest release from the album, Hate To Say It, is available on all the streamers. Follow Kavka on her website at www.naomikavka.com or on Insta at @naomi_kavka
