Preston Buffalo (he/him) is a Two spirit Cree artist from 3-D six territories currently residing in the unseeded territories of the coastal peoples in Vancouver. British Columbia.

Long an established and exceptionally gifted Artist, his interdisciplinary work uses alternative photographic processes, augmented reality, digital illustration to tell his stories while weaving in his personal indigenous iconography and symbolism.
His overall objective is to create visual expressions that encourage new perspectives on Indigenous art, emphasizing its significance in contemporary society and its contribution to an ongoing dialogue. His work asks the question “What defines indigenous art?”.

Preston’s current exhibit “Go Home Yuppie Scum” is showing at The SUM gallery (268 Keefer) in Chinatown, running April 11th through June 6th.
Taking its title from graffiti that appeared on empty/sold Vancouver houses and lots in the 1980s as part of the local anti-gentrification movement, Go Home Yuppie Scum is an irreverent take on the “Welcome to Vancouver” View-Master reels popular in the 1960s to 1980s, which featured 3D images of Vancouver landmarks as a means of enticing tourists to visit.

There are seemingly endless possibilities to self-expression, and TODDY (she/they) is out there breaking new ground. With a winning combination of drag, standup comedy, opera, classical and pop music, Toddy is redefining the very idea of pop stardom on their forthcoming debut album ALWAYS.
A Vancouver-based comedian and trained opera singer, Toddy found recognition by winning Season 1 of OutTV’s Call Me Mother, being a vocal soloist in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in the “Symphony of Terrors!”, and performing at festivals around North America.
