Q-052 a Mi'kmaq artist & activist with the new single Red Dress Christmas out now. Red Dress Christmas is a raw alternative-rock new Christmas classic to remind us about the difficulties of celebrating the Holidays for those who have lost a Mother, Wife, Sister or Daughter to violent crimes. There are over 4000 Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women across Turtle Island. QAMA'SI, stand-up people! Q-052, nominated for Best New Artist at the Indigenous Music Awards 2018. Many Indigenous sisters and brothers should recognize themselves in his music. The lyrics constantly challenge the Canadian Government about the Indian Act, territorial destruction from resource exploitation, the hidden agenda surrounding the Truth & Reconciliation process, and the many levels of the Canadian Genocide. Featuring collaborations with artists such as Méta & Alias. A strong advocate for Indigenous youth and women fighting alongside his brothers and sisters, he started to write in hope that his truthful music will inspire systemic change. Q stands for Quentin. Q052 is the official governmental name for his reserve. Follow online.
