Sydney Henry is the Vice President of Events for the UBC AMS Black Student Union/DJ Venetta of Nuzi Collective music collective dedicated to providing a platform for black women, woc and trans folks within the Vancouver electronic music scene.

Sydney Henry: is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia. She is the Vice President of Events for the UBC AMS Black Student Union, the first-ever Black Student Union in UBC history. Sydney is majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations.

NuZi Collective is a music collective founded in 2017 by Betty Mulat and Samira Warsame. We are dedicated to providing a platform for black women, woc and trans folks within the Vancouver electronic music scene. We focus on the production of dance and music events with an emphasis on rap and electronic music, as well as community engagement and empowerment initiatives. NuZi Collective strives to strengthen, and promote black culture by nurturing spaces for expression, encouragement, safety and togetherness.
