Hailing from Vancouver Canada, and raised in the mountains of British Columbia, Lila Gray portrays the melodramatic emotions of a 21st century teen through her heartfelt lyrics and ambition. Destined for great things, this young artist found her passion, and eternal love for music at the tender age of 5 when she started her classical training through cello. Since then, Lila has picked up singing, songwriting, and guitar to establish her presence as a musician.
Growing up listening to influential classics such as; The Beatles, James Brown, Queen, and The Kinks, while constantly finding new artists from which to draw inspiration (Scott Helman, Lorde, Billie Eilish, Vance Joy, Bleachers, and Feist), Lila has managed to find her unique indie pop sound. With her music varying from acoustic ballads to synthy disco jams, Lila covers a wide range of styles while opening eyes (and ears) to what modern music can be.
