This Months show I pay tribute to a very good friend who recently passed away Paul "Saul" Griffiths (RIP)
Saul was great person, extremely funny, always the life and 'Saul' of the party and was an extremely talented producer.
In Saul's memory I put together a selection of "Saul" Music to showcase his unique sound. Saul had many influences when it came to music, and was very eclectic in his taste, which you can hear within this selection of tracks which feature many of his own compositions, re-edits and remixes.
It is also mad to think that all these tracks were made in a very basic bedroom studio on minimal equipment, many tracks were made on the old Roland MC303, MC505 and MC808 GrooveBox. The production on Saul's tracks is quite amazing considering none of the tracks have been professionally mastered.
None of the tracks have been released as Saul simply made music for the pure enjoyment, some tracks under the alias of Saul 78, and S.T.8 can be found on Soundcloud (See links below) the other tracks can't be found on the web, I would like to thank Saul's brother Mike for sending these across.
