Welcome back everyone - hope you had a great Halloween! We are now entering the wintery months, and everyone hopefully is enjoying the darker tones and jubilation that this time of year brings. We have an excellent mix for you, it is my horror movie soundtrack of sorts. If I were able to curate one, this might be how it sounds. We begin with an eerie, yet beautiful, cut from Air, followed by my fav jam off Kendrick's album 'DAMN.', a straight classic from The (one and only) Roots (band), incredible sonics from Electric Youth, and St. Vincent bringing the house down with another standard from her recent album 'MASSEDUCTION'; this is followed by brand new, and really good, Destroyer, the Chromatics (who are amazing), Beach House (magic), brand new Daphni, Zero 7, and a bonus gem that puts everything in perspective.
