* Mau Mau came into the world in Turin in 1991. They are Luca Morino (voice and guitar), Fabio Barovero (voice and accordion) and Bienvenu Nsongan (from Cameroun, voice and percussions). Their music is a blend of different styles mixed together to generate a new language, a blend of northern and southern Mediterranean atmospheres. The lyrics of their songs are about emigration, poverty, hunger, the suburbs, expectations, amusement and computers. Their use of language is very peculiar: Italian, Piedmont dialect, Spanish, English and French.
* Agricantus from Palermo, Sicily were formed in 1979. They play world music fusion - a mix of ethnic, trance and ambient music.
