Funk My Life grooves out tunes with a bit of soul and a lot of funk, from the birth of rhythm and blues to the golden age of motown, to contemporary dance remixes of classic soul hits. We explore Brasilian funk, Japanese breakbeat anthems, the British motown remix scene, Canadian soul and disco that your parents probably made out to, and the classic originals of American soul music over the past 60 years. Soul in the City’s Oker hosts with various guests to bring that extra bounce to your step every Thursday at 11pm.
