With the recent death of drummer Tony Allen (1940-2020), this episode will mostly focus on the genre closely associated with him and the legendary Fela Kuti: Afrobeat. We'll hop around parts of Africa for this pretty funky show, eulogizing also jazz drummer James Cobb & singer Betty Wright.
