It's festival time on the Lower Mainland, and we hear examples of some of the bluesier participants in the upcoming Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Vancouver Folk Festival, the Iron Mountain Music Festival, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues and Vancouver Island Musicfest. We marked the passing of Eddie 'The Chief' Clearwater, Matt 'Guitar' Murphy and Clarence Fountain. We set the WayBac Machine for 1981 and a great Lowell Fulson session done right here in Vancoooover. Some new releases from the Jack DeKeyser and more as well.
