Jupiter
3:06pm - 3:40pm
Jupiter's moon Io is the most volcanicaly active moon in the solar system. Scientists have now discovered that Io's atmosphere is variable, and this phenomenon is affected by whether iO is or isn't hiding from the Sun in the shadow of its host planet Jupiter. The Juno mission to Jupiter is also talked about. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter, (GRS) which is as wide as 3 Earth diameters, also has an effect on the heating of Jupiter's atmosphere. There is therefore a lot of atmosphere on the show today.
