Saturday, November 4 local indie pop rockers The Deep Cove release their debut album, To Love the Coming End of the World with a record release show at The Fox Cabaret.
The album serves as a soundtrack to To Love the Coming End, the debut book by frontperson Leanne Dunic. The book is a “lyric travelogue” about the loss of a loved one, set in Singapore, Japan and Canada. (Hear Dunic discuss her book and experiences in the Vancouver literary community on CiTR 101.9FM’s Arts Report episode from September 20, available here.)
As the name would suggest, The Deep Cove’s has a decidedly moody West Coast sound. Listen below for an exclusive stream of To Love the Coming End of the World.
The Deep Cove is Dunic on vocals and guitar, Ryan Ogg on guitar, Shane Wilson on drums, and Brian Minato on bass and vocals.
