Discorder Magazine Reading Room
As of 2024, Discorder Magazine has published almost four hundred and fifty issues. It is valuable both to the staff as a reference resource and to anyone who is interested in the cultural, and countercultural, history of Vancouver.
The in-house Discorder Magazine Archives is a collection of the physical newsprint. It is under the care of the Discorder Magazine Archivist and the Discorder Magazine Reading Room Assistants. It is located at the station and can be accessed there by CiTR members and staff. We also field some requests from the broader Vancouver community.
Drop in hours Term 2 (January through April 10th 2025) Tuesdays and Fridays, 2pm to 4pm.
Room LL512 @ CiTR Campus Radio 6133 University Blvd. Vancouver, BC V6T1Z1 Canada
There are Reading Room Assistants available most days to help search for digital and physical material.
The Reading Room is primarily meant to support CiTR members but non-members can arrange a tour through archives@citr.ca.
