8:00am - 10:00am
Kali Marz, a soulful and electric singer/songwriter from Texas is an upcoming artist who brings their unique vibes to the sonic spectrum of House/Electronic Music. With a passionate and spiritual delivery, Kali has collaborated with artists in other countries, most recently DJ/Producer duo In House on their single Desire, open mics, and showcases throughout their hometown, Dallas/Fort Worth. Kali grew up in Fort Worth, Texas in a musically gifted family. Kali received their first informal music training from their father who would sit them down and play music from The Winans and have them mimic or repeat and harmonize with the singers. As Kali grew into their own musical discovery, they became influenced by unique, otherworldly, ethereal, and gutsy singers, like Chaka Khan, Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon), Sarah Vaughn, Rahsaan Patterson, Faith Evans, Sylvester, and Boy George to name a few, but also felt drawn to unique and electronic sounds. Kali is that conduit between the ethereal and the electric, the analog and the digital. Kali is one of the newest artists signed to SO Fierce Music Founded by Artist/Producer Velvet Code. Kali feels that their Queer identity helps shapes their musical identity as well by being outside of the box and in their own orbit, relating to the weird and wonderful, the otherworldly spiritual and material.

Scary rose from the underground rock Montreal scene, SCARY (aka Angelo Carocci) is a Latinx singer-songwriter and producer. He graduated from Vanier College in Jazz Voice and was lead singer in the alt. rock band Spectroom until 2019. SCARY now appears as a solo artist while mixing up synth-pop ideas with his previous 80s and 90s rock bands' sound. Greatly inspired by pop artists like Charli XCX and bands like Garbage and The Strokes, his presence on stage and his deep baritone voice are eye-catching. In 2019, he produces and releases his first single "Paranormal Love", marking the beginning of his first ever EP as SCARY. One year later, SCARY comes back with his second single "What's Your Name?", a song that will later lead him to a performance at PRIDE MTL and his own show at the Pervers/Cité Festival in summer 2020. RELEASING "TAKE A HIT!" SCARY kicks off 2021 by announcing the release of his first EP "Take A Hit!", a project written, recorded and produced by himself. This compilation of 6 chansons is filled with retro synths and chorus guitars diving you in a nostalgia reminding us of 80s artists like Madonna, Depeche Mode and New Order. Inspired by words of love, sex, freedom of expression and a quest for an identity, SCARY promises a trip full of surprises.
