Welcome back everyone - Spring has arrived officially and we will be moving forward with wonderful acoustics and riddims on this mix - To begin this excursion, we have a wonderful opening track from SZA - Supermodel - a top notch display of acoustics and vocals, next we have a classic track from Gorillaz off of their somewhat overlooked 2007 record 'D-Sides', another wonderful cut from Jill Scott, one of my favourite rap tracks ever from Busta Rhymes (still as great as it was in '98), and some prodigious Missy Elliott (and Timbaland); in the next section, we switch it up with a really cool ballad from White Poppy, and another from the The Cool Ruler himself - Gregory Isaacs, Grimes (who we are hoping will release a new album in the near future), Men I Trust (favourite new band), K8A with a creative down tempo jam, N.E.R.D. with the collabo and beat drop of 2018, and old time Beres Hammond to keep things moving well; we close with Majid Jordan whose techno notes serve as the right introduction for our royal bonus gem - Please enjoy~~
