This week at the top of the hour I kick it off with a song of the new Marcus Strickland album, 'Nihli Novi' which features the likes of Robert Glasper & Meshell N'degeocello. 'Nihli Novi' is a brilliant album and feels like the sister of Terrace Martins 'Velvet Portraits'.

After that I get into some hip hop heavy jams with Phonte, AstroLogical, Blue Lab Beats, Junior Mafia, Holy Sock Gang, & Tek.lun.

I finish the show with that dance vibe you know and love on Ninth Wave. Diana Ross, Nick Wisdom, Henry Wu, The Pendletons & J-Louis pepper the groove heavy second half and I finish with a cherry on top in the form of Kimmortal who will be representing Vancouver at SXSW this week w/ Jay Worthy, I M U R, Peach Pit, Little Destroyer and more!
