Welcome back everyone - We have quite the mix cassette for you - 7.7! As Culture would describe, 'when two sevens clash'. This is an inspired mix, which features a lot of hip hop and soul; we begin with the great group College, blending nicely into a brand new extraordinary cut from Blood Orange, a crazy important record from N.E.R.D. feat. Kendrick, and classic statements from Public Enemy and N.W.A.; the next section works in Egyptrixx, a brand new cut from Charlotte Day Wilson - a really good emerging artist - , a tender shoe gaze track from the Dears (who will be in Vancouver on March 9th), a classic from Curtis Mayfield, and Erykah Badu in the hour of chaos; we close with a most powerful note from Stevie Wonder; and of course, the bonus gem - Please enjoy~~
