Welcome back everyone! Hope this mix cassette finds you well.. It's been a long week for many of you and I thought that we could blow off some steam with an election edition suite. We begin with some beautiful work from Miles Davis off of the classic album 'Porgy & Bess'; which brings us nicely into a brand new hip hop track from Common feat. the unbelievable Stevie Wonder (and commentary from James Brown), some classic Stevie Wonder, and brand new Solange; this leads us into a some old time jazz, folk and rock from Frankie Blue Eyes, Ian & Sylvia, and The Guess Who; we round out this mix cassette with soul cuts from Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse; and of course, the bonus gem!
