Happy International Women’s Day episode! To co-host this special episode I invited Vancouver pop punk princess, president of Black Lab organization, fearless leader of one of the best bands in town Poor Form and just a great person - Legs!

Legs prepared three blocks of great femcon punk rock and she shared that with the listeners of Rocket From Russia. First block featured songs by Swim Team (Vancouver, BC, Canada), Siamese Twins (Boston, MA, USA), Chroma (Barcelona, Spain) and Mozart (Califrnia, USA).

In the second block we focused on a show which happens this week in Vancouver and features Basement Benders (Chattanooga, TN, USA), SBDC and Poor Form (both Vancouver, BC, Canada) @ Black Lab + songs by Dyke Drama (Olympia, WA, USA), Extra Feeler and Aye Nako (both from Brooklyn, NY).

And the final block presented by Legs featured La Misma (London, UK), Gaze (Dublin, Ireland), Cloaca (Vancouver, BC, Canada) and Sparkle Water (Halifax, NS, Canada).

And the final block featured 5 local punk bands which played Resolve Records Launch Party - The Greatest Sons, The Binz, You Big Idiot, Contra Code and The Expectants.
