Temple Grandin delivered the talk "Maintaining High Standards of Animal Welfare" in the UBC Alumni Centre. As a world-renowned animal welfare scientist and author Temple Grandin has improved the lives of countless animals. Ms. Grandin got her start in the cattle industry in the 1970's at a time when the industry was largely male.
