This year, for UBC’s annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, more than 100 UBC graduate student researchers put hours of work into practicing and honing their presentations to compete in faculty and department organized heats over 4 weeks of competition.

Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.
