Hello Hello Hello!
Another decent episode of Rocket From Russia filled with new and exciting punk rock music. I started off the show with a song by a Russian punk rock band Tarakany! and their song “Kto-to Iz Nas Dvoih” which brought some special memories. Best Russian punk rock band in my opinion!
First block features killer pop punk hits. They are all great and all sound pretty much the same, so why would I bother you with telling those band names? Especially considering the fact that the list of songs is located below.
Second block features new hits by bands from Europe - my friends Umy! from my home town Novosibirsk released new album “Verit V Chudo” and I played the title track. Also this second block features two songs by bands which I played on the show before Quarterback 40 from Germany and Juustopäät from Helsinki, Finland. Both bands released wonderful albums this year.
And in the end of the show I did two ticket giveaways to Lemuria, Tigers Jaw, Somos @ Studio East and Agent Orange, The Shit Talkers @ Rickshaw.
