The Vampire's Ball Episode May 23, 2009

Broadcast on 23-May-2009

2:00am - 4:00am

So, we start out with an interview with kAINE D3L4Y of Left Spine Down, talking about LSD's creative process among other things.

Then of course we play a few of their newest tracks from Voltage 2.3.

After that, some Frontline Assembly from [FLA]vour of the Weak, some old Skinny Puppy (on vinyl!) from Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate, some Download from Effector, and we close out with Diamanda Galas' wailing.

And by coincidence, everything tonight is either Vancouver-based, or features one track recorded live in Vancouver (Diamanda Galas' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" from La Serpenta Canta).

As a bonus treat for the live listeners, I've also gotten around to making the first of the post-show mix CDs to cycle on until the Saturday Edge on Folk starts at 8:00am. Trust me, it's some awesome music. You'll have to start tuning in live at http://citr.ca/listen.php
