CiTR is live broadcasting the Third Annual Red Jam Slam Radio Festival on unceded Coast Salish Musqueam territory from June 17 – June 21.
The Red Jam Slam festival presents events and celebrations that feature emerging and acclaimed Aboriginal artists and performers.
The grassroots Red Jam Slam society seeks to create inclusive strategies that honour all Aboriginal voices and encourage all to participate in the continued growth, presence, and expression of Aboriginal voices across all media.
Events will be happening at various venues across the city including,
June 17 – Musqueam Cultural Centre,
June 18 – Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre Society,
June 19 – Lord Strathcona Elementary School,
June 20 – Gallery Gachet, and,
June 21 – Bill Reid Gallery
