Vancouver New Music’s Sonic Topographies starts today!

The festival showcases composers, musicians and sound artists who are fostering new, sound-based explorations of ideas that emerge from natural, interlocking cycles and alternative systems of thought. Tune in tonight at 101.9FM or online at citr.ca between 6:30PM to 11PM and Sunday between 2-6PM for artist interviews, panel discussions, and performances!

Sonic Topographies takes place Orpheum Annex (823 Seymour Street, 2nd floor) and Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS), University of British Columbia (2260 West Mall, UBC Point Grey Campus). Check out the Facebook event page for more details on the performers and set times.
