Our guest this week is fellow Vancouverite and UBC Alumnus whose professional career includes over 30 years of experience as a Set Decorator in the Art Department world of TV and Film: Hamish Purdy! Spanning a diverse range of projects, from big-budget blockbusters to critically acclaimed television series, some of his most recognized projects include The Revenant, for which he was nominated for An Academy Award, Man of Steel, Bad Times at the El Royale, The Cabin in the Woods, and Apple TV series Pachinko. Hamish's ability to create immersive, atmospheric worlds is a testament to his deep passion for the craft, and we are truly fortunate to have him with us today to share insights from his artistic journey.
