PERELANDRA WADDLE (she/them) is an interdisciplinary, 2 Spirit, Métis artist born and raised on unceded x?m??k??y??m (Musqueam), S?wx?wú7mesh (Squamish), and s?lilw?ta? ((Tsleil-Waututh) land.
They currently perform traditional Métis jigging and contemporary dance with la compaignie V’ni Dansi. In 2023 they graduated with a BFA in dance from the school of contemporary arts at SFU.
Now they are building a dance collective for BIPOC artists as an artistic director, writer and choreographer. In their residency with Dance West Network, they are working on an Indigenous and feminist dance piece inspired by the Cosmic Trilogy by CS Lewis.
