MAYA WOLFF (she/her) is a German Singer/Songwriter based in Brighton, UK. In the past few years she’s established herself as a leading voice in the electronic dance music scene repeatedly charting on Beatport with her latest releases reaching the Top 10 genre charts with a couple of No 1’s.
She started out in England as a young adult singing and dancing in a Pop band, touring with dance companies and had a solo music career throughout her teenage years. She then moved away from Pop music and dancing to pursue her career as a singer/songwriter within the electronic/bass music scene.
A hot fave of EDM Producers, Maya has spent the last decade creating her music to much chart success. In 2017 she added Trance to her music stylings and those recordings exploded onto the charts and music scene as well. Maya’s vocal Trance EP “Captured” as well as her own dance EP “Fast Forward” were released on her own label ‘Wolff Recordings’ in the second half of 2020, with both EP’s entered the Beatport Top 10 as well as the Top 100 overall charts.
With a strong fanbase and support from her global audience online, Maya has performed on Broadway in NY, European Festivals and at home in the UK.
2023 started strong with the releases “Whirlwind”, a collab with Arsen Gold, as well as international radio attention for “Broken Hearts”. Her latest is the single ELECTRICITY, available on all the streaming channels. Learn more about the artist at www.mayawolff.com

For Canadian conductor GORDON GERRARD (he/him), music is an animating life force. He’s guest-conducted major Canadian orchestras (Vancouver, Quebec, Toronto, Victoria, London, Kitchener-Waterloo) and opera companies (Calgary, Hamilton, Edmonton) and has now landed as the new Artistic Director of City Opera Vancouver. Gordon has distinguished himself as a leader in innovative and inclusionary programming, bringing a fresh perspective to the podium that endears him to audiences and musicians alike.
All rather unlikely for a gay kid who grew up on a farm just outside Brandon, Manitoba. Piano lessons began at 7 years of age, at age seventeen Gordon left the farm to study at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, followed by a master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music in the U.S.
He loved collaborating with singers, which led to a fascination with opera and the world of conducting. “Music brings people together,” he says. “I consider it a privilege to be part of that magic.” Gordon also loves working with emerging artists (Calgary Opera, the Banff Centre, Montréal’s Opera McGill, Toronto’s Glenn Gould School) and since 2016, he’s been the dynamic music director of the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
City Opera Vancouver is 16 years old, presenting repertoire that spans classical works to new compositions, and focusing on giving voice to stories and music from marginalized communities.
