Khai is a Vancouver-born artist with a unique mix of European and East Asian heritage, and a strong Mongolian cultural influence. They’ve been making music since 2020 using Garageband, where they explore space pop and alternative sounds.
Kai began their musical journey during the COVID-19 lockdown when, feeling pretty bored, they decided to pursue their musical ambitions. As the lead singer of the rock project, The Jupiters, Kai and the band have performed their original songs in Vancouver pubs and small venues.
After finishing studies in arts and entertainment management at Capilano University, I met my bandmates and began working with the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, where I wear many hats and got to experience the thrill of being in the arts. Disco is their latest passion, and they are currently part of the Disco Inferno Project, put on by Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret. This production starts in April and you can catch it at Russian Hall
THEATRE and you can buy tickets at Eventbrite. Khai is always seeking out the next challenge and is excited to see where their artistic journey takes them next. Learn more at @mandukhaaii or @dustyflowerpotcabaret on Insta!
