New Music Review By Mark Hjorthoy
Moskitoo – Unspoken Poetry
Wow! Combining ethereal breathy vocals with scattered malfunctioning electronic melodies should be its own genre. Beauty over broken is magic. I love it when beauty and warped are brought together. It can be a disaster to most, but in this case they got it right. Kind of Coco Rosie and Daedalus, but all original. So cool.
Conrad Schnitzler – Magie
I have been a fan of Conrad’s work for years now. His blippy noises and smooth atmospheres create sonic beauty and tension all in the same piece. There’s 29 tracks on ‘Magie‘ and each one shines in its own right. Sequences for the masses! This is excellent! Check out his back catalogue as well. Brilliant work.
