The provincial general election is slated for Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Pipelines and dams are on the docket, housing is on everyone’s mind, and the fentanyl crisis is an epidemic Vancouver has not faced for decades. As such, the election has been especially contentious.
To cover the election in closer detail, News 101’s Andrew Seal took time to reach out to each party for an MLA candidate. These interviews are presented below, in the order with which they were produced.
Green Party, Langara – Janet Fraser
Liberals, Mount Pleasant – Conny Lin
Your Political Party, Point Grey / Fairview – David Stall / Joey Doyle
NDP, Quilchena – Madeline Lalonde
