AMS Events is pleased to announce the 14th annual UBC FarmAde! FarmAde brings together UBC community members of all ages to celebrate community, local food and local Vancouver talent to support organizations and movements that promote sustainability and work to raise awareness about food security issues.
The event will take place at UBC Farm from 3-8:30 on September 9th. Family friendly music acts Marin Patenaude, Ben Rogalsky and the East Van Country Band, The New Short Mountain Deadbeats (square dancing!), and St. Ego and the Big Idea.
Corn and a selection of fresh veggies, straight from UBC’s own organic farm, will be served throughout the event alongside vegan, vegetarian, and low-impact beef burgers. There will be face paining and bubble wands for the kids and a beverage garden for the adults! There will also be free tours of the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at UBC Farm!
