Staff
Volunteer Manager
We’re hiring a Volunteer Manager! This role is an integral part of the station’s community outreach initiatives. It’s the responsibility of the individual in this roll to attract students and volunteers and to manage those involved with the station including volunteers, interns, high school students and work placements. The Volunteer Manager acts as the friendly face of the station and offers support to new volunteers who are interested in getting involved with the radio or magazine.
The Volunteer Manager is also responsible for maintaining CiTR’s mandate to amplify underrepresented voices and to provide a safe space for members of our diverse community to receive training and education in media. The Manager should be knowledgeable about and have a commitment to anti-oppressive practice. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable with communicating in groups and managing conflict in interpersonal situations. They are passionate about supporting the CiTR community and enriching the organization through increased accessibility and diversity in our volunteer program.
