The 15th annual DOXA Documentary Film Festival begins Thursday, May 5 to Sunday, May 15.
This year’s festival features 85 films and 78 screenings, including one World Premiere, 21 Canadian Premieres, and 19 screenings rate (i.e. open for audience members under 18 to attend, subject to classification ratings).
On May 7, there will also be an expanded industry program with three panel sessions and a special presentation and iPad installation by the National Film Board of Canada on their Making Movie History project.
As well, DOXA is happy to announce that fifty percent of the screenings are from women filmmakers!
