Discorder is proud to present a writing workshop free to all CiTR members! Writing Features 101.9 with Andrea Warner, CBC Music and Exclaim! contributor, and author of We Oughta Know: How Four Women Ruled the ’90s and Changed Canadian Music.
This workshop is for anyone interested in doing non-fiction writing. Andrea Warner also has a wealth of experience covering pop culture, art and feminism, and will be sharing her advice and experiences over the course of the evening. Topics include formative writing experiences, developing a voice, trusting yourself as a writer, communicating with editors, writing for a living vs. writing for writing’s sake, the intersection of feminism/Canadian music, and much more!
This will also be an open forum to start a conversation with Andrea so feel free to come with questions!
CiTR members can RSVP for the workshop by emailing Underreview.Discorder@citr.ca. Space is limited!
Workshop Details: 6:30-8:30, at the AMS Nest, UBC (Specific Room Pending!)
