Interested in participating in academic research and creating scholarly content? Submissions for the AUS Humanities & Social Sciences Conference are open from now until December 16.
This year’s theme is Innovation and is focused on the role of undergraduate research in the evolution of academic work.
The purpose of the conference is to give undergraduate students an opportunity to present their work and enter a scholastic dialogue with their peers and professors.
Attendance is free and includes a complimentary lunch, beverages, and a pizza raffle entry.
Students may present work done as term papers, honours theses, or independent research projects; works in progress may also be eligible. Presentations should be no longer than 15 minutes, in English, and should represent work done while the presenter was an undergraduate student. Submissions are also open to Fine Arts students. They can be 2D or 3D art pieces. Canvases may not be smaller than 12’ X 12” and no larger than 36” X 48”.
