Firehall Arts Centre will host the fourth production of Michael Healey’s comic political satire, Proud this Sunday on April 5th. The last installment by the award-winning playwright in his Canadian works trilogy, it’ll pique your interest if you’ve ever wondered if Canadian politics is sexy. With a prime minister styled after Stephen Harper, and a Pygmalion type MP floating around the office, Proud has received positive reviews from The Georgia Straight to The Globe and Mail for pitting a likeable (!!) Harper with a female politician from Quebec (nice). Perfect for poli sci and theatre majors alike!
