Description
During live broadcasts of Canada West Conference varsity women’s and men’s volleyball matches at UBC which air on CiTR 101.9 FM and CanadaWest.TV, the volleyball analyst commentator assists the play-by-play commentator by providing analysis of player performance and strategies in between points. Both commentators will often engage in dialogue ad-libbed as they observe the action during the match. The volleyball analyst commentator provides expert analysis and background information, such as statistics, strategy, and injury reports on the teams and players; and occasionally anecdotes or humour.

Qualifications
Requires experience competitive volleyball (indoor or beach) playing, refereeing, or coaching at minimum high school grade 11 level (age 17 equivalent), as well as proficiency and enthusiasm for public speaking.
