August is coming to a close, and what better way to celebrate the end of our sunniest summer ever than by a wicked day of music, partying, and the potential onset of random sprinkler attacks?

Victory Square Block Party 2013 is here and you won’t want to miss this FREE annual end of summer celebration!  Here are the vital details that will get you out to this awesome event:

When: Sunday, September 1 from 2pm – 9pm

Who’s Playing: Slam Dunk, The Courtneys, Slow Learners, Jay Arner, Cascadia, V Vecker Ensemble, Young Braised, and Kristi Lane Sinclair.  Set times TBA

Where: Victory Square Park (Cambie and Hastings)

Collaboration: Victory Square 2013 is a collaboration, put on by CiTR 101.9 & Music Waste.

Partial proceeds from the raffle and sponsorship go towards Megaphone Magazine, Vancouver’s street magazine sold by homeless and low income vendors as a source of income.
