In our final archive post, we’d just like to say thank you for reading and hope to see everyone out this weekend! In the spirit of big events, we have a couple of original invitations from events in the station’s past. The first is an invitation from 1947 to the Radio Society’s Annual Banquet and Dance. This was also the year that the Society moved into new studios in Brock Hall, where they would stay for the next 22 years. The second invite is to the grand opening of the new SUB studio in 1969, the current location of the station. It’s crazy that in less than two years, we’ll be sending out invites for the opening of yet another new UBC Radio studio. Time marches on!
