Tonight on the Arts Report!
We review The Sorrows of Young Werther, a Theatre at UBC production starring trained actor Ryan Beil. The funny and moving show runs tonight, Oct 17th to Saturday, Oct 20th. (Spoiler alert: we liked it.)
Anakana Schofield addresses form, space and feminism in Malarky. She also talks about her participation in the Literary Cabaret at the Vancouver International Writers Festival, including who to see and read since her event is sold out. We also have a reading from her.
Andrew Young, local artist, brings you SNAG at the Cobalt. Live visual art that you can bring home? Do tell.
Shyam Selvadurai is the Writer in Residence at Green College (at UBC), who will talk about his position and writing. CiTR broadcast his reading and Q&A from a Green College Tuesday evening salon, which you can listen to in our Campus Lectures series.
It’s a packed show and we may even run long, so set those timers to 5pm and get comfy. If you don’t want to miss a minute remember to subscribe to our podcast.
