Canzine West is Broken Pencil Magazine’s annual festival featuring distributors, independent publications and presses as well as artists, writers and comic illustrators. Plus there will be nearly 100 publishers of zines, magazines and books.

The festival will also feature:

– Beauty Plus PIty: Reading and Q&A by Kevin Chong.

– Indie Writers Deathmatch Live: A show based on Broken Pencil’s annual contest, hosted by Sean Cranbury.

– Artists’ Books: A talk by Keith Higgins and Kathy Slade of Publication Studio.

– CASH BAR featuring STEAM WHISTLE BEER!
